Why do you love PR and how did you get into it?
I love that there are no creative boundaries in PR. The industry lets me think boldly and draw a whole new picture when I have an idea. At Bevel, in particular, there is always an opportunity to share and bounce around ideas with other team members — I never feel like I need to color inside the lines.
Throughout college, PR wasn’t necessarily the first thing on my mind to jump into after I graduated. Turns out, it was a perfect fit for what I enjoy doing and have loved every minute since.
What drew you to Bevel?
I’ve always taken notice of strong company cultures throughout my experiences. I really valued it when I graduated and knew it would be important for me to have. Now that I’m on the Bevel team, I feel a strong sense of culture. I always enjoy our team outings and creative collaborating on projects.
What is your work mantra?
Don’t just wish for it, work for it.
Tell me a few things that you’re personally passionate about.
Learning all about the fashion industry. I’m always watching fashion documentaries, shows, and reading about designers in my free time. On top of that, I enjoy playing my guitar, spending time at the beach, and running.
What’s one piece of advice you have for the founders and CEOs you work with?
Today, we know how important social media is and how much it impacts our lives. It’s crucial to market your brand on social media by humanizing your platforms with a face — not just a logo.
