What drew you to Bevel?
I was drawn to Bevel because they serve clients who work toward a larger purpose. These clients create technology, products and services that shape consumer behavior in certain aspects of life. All I have ever hoped for in a job is to do work that is bigger than myself, that creates change and pushes the boundaries for the future. I’m super grateful for the opportunity to dive into a new set of clients and learn all that I can about these industries.
What’s your favorite thing about what you do?
My favorite thing is that I actually love what I do. I love telling stories, building relationships and adapting to the new challenges each day brings. Every aspect of my job is something that excites me and pushes me to be even better than before. Sometimes it’s easy to settle for a position, but to have a job that is adding value to my personal and professional life is a mix I couldn’t be happier to have.
What has been your biggest lesson in public relations?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that relationships are everything. Whether with the media, clients or your own team members, having a solid relationship makes all the difference. While these relationships are built over time, communication and collaboration are essential to the process and can benefit both parties no matter the outcome. Some of my best relationships have come out of a work environment and they have been so helpful to my personal and professional success.
How would you describe yourself to a client in three words?
Willing, Driven, and Diligent
